The type of content you can create, depends on your site. Each site has different types of pages (called data models) created by your site's developers. In this example, our imaginary site has two types of pages: page and news item. What ever types of pages your site may have, the principal of creating content is the same for all.
Select the place from the content navigator where you want to put the new page to. You select by clicking on a page or a column. If nothing is selected, new page will be placed in the first column. If a page is selected, new content will be placed in the same column as the page.
Clicking on the "new" button in the top left corner or by doing a right button click on in the content navigator and selecting "new". This opens you a list of all the available data models.

3 Click on the type of page you want to create. The new page will appear in the in the content navigator (A) and an editor window will open for the page (B).
New page in the content navigator.
New editor view for the page.
Fill in the content for your page.

When your page is ready, hit the "save" button next to the new button
(you can also press Ctrl + s on Windows and Command + s on Mac). Save button turns into a loading animation. When the animation stops, your page has been saved.
Your new page is now ready! The page will be named after the main field of your data model and a URL will be created by it's name and location on the site (in our example, it would be /news/consumers-love-our-products) .

Please note: Before creating sub pages for newly created page, make sure that you've saved the parent page.
