Changing publishing status

Publishing status determines how the page will be shown in the site. Pages can be:

When new pages are created, their default status is "published".

  1. context menu in the content navigator
  2. info panel in the content editor

1. Context menu method

Navigate to the page you want to edit by clicking it's parent pages. Single-clicking a page will open column on it's right side and list all it's sub pages.

When you see your page, do a right click on it. This will bring up a context menu.

Place your mouse pointer over the "Published" option. This will bring up a list of different publishing options marking the one currently selected.

Click the option you want to set the publishing status for the page.

2. Info panel method

Navigate to the page you want to edit and open it by double clicking it.

Once the content editor is open, click the "i" button on the right top corner of the editor to open the info panel.

In the info panel look for the "Published" section. There you'll see a list of options you can set for this page.

When you've selected the one you want to set, hit the "save" button next to the new button
(you can also press control + s on Windows and command + s on Mac). Save button turns into a loading animation. When the animation stops, your page has been saved and new publishing status has been set.
